The folder contains all the stamps issued for the year and a description of the stamps. Later, the sets became more elaborate, with mounts and more descriptive material. Starting in 1989 with the beginning of the Human Rights series, the UN issued separate souvenir folders for that issue and it was not included in the year sets. Later, the Endangered Species series began, and it too had its own souvenir folder so those stamps were also deleted from these year sets.
